Compote
2 cups Moon Mountain Cabernet 1 cup Golden Currants or Crimson
Raisins 1 cup Red Currants or Crimson Raisins 2 teaspoons honey 12-16
slices fresh sweet baguette 1# Vella Cheese Company Italian Table Cheese, served
room temperature In a heavy bottom pot, over low flame, simmer Currants,
Moon Mountain Cabernet and honey for 20-25 minutes or until Currants are plump
and wine has reduced to syrup. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Serve with
slices of Vella Italian Table Cheese, sweet baguette and a glass of Moon Mountain
Cabernet. Enjoy!
