| Welcome to The Epicurean Connection! The Epicurean Connection is opening to the Community~ The Epicurean Connection, Inc. is officially open as of October 21, 2009! Located in the heart of Sonoma, where (that which) we call "The Springs", is at 18816 Sonoma Highway "C", Sonoma Ca. 95476. We will have a fine selection of artisan and farmstead cheeses, fresh pasta from the Pasta Shop including Delice de la Vallee Raviolis, Sonoma County Dairy Products, Sonoma Valley Olive Oils, fresh canned preserves and much more, The first Thursday of each month is Non-Profit night with a complimentary reception and 10% of the day's sales going towards the selected community non profit. We have the Waffle Walk on Saturday mornings,"walk on in and have a waffle"! See you in the Springs. Sonoma Valley Farmers Market is where you will find Delice de la Vallee each week! on Friday Mornings, year round at the Depot Park, from 9:00-Noon~ Join Sheana and our farming friends for Delice de la Vallee & Delice de la Vallee Raviolis as each week we create a seasonal sweet and seasonal savory topping for Delice de la Vallee~ Save the date, February 20-23, 2010 for the 8th annual Sonoma Valley Cheese Conference. Hosted by Sheana Davis, The Epicurean Connection, Sonoma California featuring Max McCalman, Dean of Curriculum at the Artisanal Cheese Center and author of The Cheese Plate; Cheese, a Connoisseur's Guide to the World's Best; and of Mastering Cheese; Ari Weinzweig, Co-Founder Partner & CEO, “Zingerman’s Community of Businesses”; Mateo Kehler, Cellars at Jasper Hill; Steven Rosenberg, Liberty Heights Fresh Chief Eating Officer; Judy Creigthon, Cheese Educator; Juliana Uruburu, The Pasta Shop; Janet Fletcher, Author and Cheese Columnist; Gordon Edgar, Rainbow Grocery Cooperative; Dee Harley, Harley Farms; Sam Mogannam, Bi Rite Market; Chris Sawyer, Sommelier with additional guests TBA. The annual travels to New Orleans continues to evolve ~ This February Sheana will be visiting New Orleans and of course bringing Delice de la Vallee along for the ride, hosting tastings around New Orleans; please check the events calendar for updates. We will celebrate New Orleans in the Springs February 6, 2010 this year by hosting "Barkus in the Springs" a parade of our community with our dogs, walking on our new sidewalks in the Springs. Walk between The Epicurean Connection and Arroyo Veterinary Hospital, while enjoying a cup of coffee from Barking Dog Roasters and fresh made doggie treats by The Epicurean Connection and much more! Delice de la Vallee will be featured at the at the Fancy Food Show West within the Cheese Works Booth, and will be available from Berkeley to New York~ via Tomales Bay Foods, Cheese Works West and Cheese Works East. If you cannot locate Delice de la Vallee at your preferred cheese shop, please ask them to consider tasting Delice de la Vallee and bringing it into their store~ Sharing food with another human being is an intimate act that should not be indulged in lightly. ~M.F.K.
